General Information

Plant Hire Solutions (a division of Retaining Solutions) is a service offering earthmoving equipment for hire. The equipment is hired out with ticketed, competent operators – ‘wet hire’ basis.

Plant Hire

We specialize in all types of earthmoving operations ranging from small to large scale, bulk earthworks, highway construction, dam construction, haul road construction, railway formation, subdivisions, irrigation channel, mining, mine rehabilitation and canal and harbour construction.

We have on offer for hire excavators, skidsteers loaders, wheel loaders, tippers, bogies and articulated dump trucks. Equipment can be hired on an hourly rate basis OR to a quote to complete an earthworks package.


Plant Hire Solutions equipment includes:

  • Excavator Range (4 No.)
  • 3 No. Komatsu PC228US (22tonne zero swing)
  • 1 No Komatsu PC200 (20tonne)
  • Attachments include all digging buckets, tilt buckets, augers, sieve bucket, rockbreakers and compaction vibratory plates.

  • NEW Bobcat T320 Tracked Loader "Hercules"

  • Attachments include 4-in-1 bucket, forks, sweeper and full range of augers.

All machines have fully enclosed cabins with ducted air conditioning, 2 way radios and are mining compliant for safety. We are serious about safety to keep the best operators in our team.

All Plant Hire Solutions operators are WorkCover ticketed some with RISI qualifications as required. Continuing education and extensive experience at varied work is what the company encourages amongst its operators. All plant hire equipment & operators are comprehensively insured.
