Typically a manufactured concrete product yet some suppliers mine stone for use. It commonly takes the form of wall veneers to enhance the exterior and interior appearance of houses and commercial buildings.
It is a substitute for other popular masonry products such a brick veneer and cladding. It may be applied over most existing masonry finishes including compressed sheeting. The stone is formed in moulds replicated from real stone found in nature. When applied directly the finished product is totally representative of the original stone.
